Drive from Kampala to Kibale National Park
Our guide from Exclusive African Safaris shall pick up from Kampala at your hotel or place of residence. Drive to Kibale Forest National park with lunch in Fort Portal. Thereafter ready for an afternoon Bigodi walk. This is an excellent walk-in Kibale to see unique flora and fauna.

Chimp Tracking in Kibale, Drive to Bwindi
Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is dedicated for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest. Get up early to start your gorilla trek, and jump into the muddled & mist-covered woodlands with trackers and guides who’re extensively knowledgeable at spotting the rare gorillas by discovering the den the family slept last night.
You will go through the dense untamed rain forest, mossy rocks and deep undergrowth in the hunt of these rare creatures. It can be strenuous at times. Nevertheless, when you encounter mountain gorillas for the 1st time in your life all your effort will pay for itself. Watching mountain gorillas from their natural home is a memory that you don’t forget soon.
Return to the Lodge for ample relaxation and in the afternoon be ready for a community/village walk for a cultural experience. Share the lifestyle of the local Batwa people living around Bwindi Impenetrable forests. It is such a unique experience with the local community.

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes NP
After breakfast, you will depart for the headquarters of the Park where your driver-guide will accomplish the necessary formalities for you. You will meet your ranger guide(s) for a briefing about the greatest animal experience ever!
After assigning your gorilla group you will then enter the jungle for your gorilla trekking tour in Rwanda. Your driver-guide from Exclusive African Safaris Ltd will wait for you.
After the trekking, the evening is spent on a community walk in Ruhengere – to take you through the local communities, how they live plus their ordinary lifestyle especially those who are staying around the gorilla Park.

Track Golden Monkey today. Volcanoes national park currently has two habituated golden monkeys’ troops that are available for visiting by tourists in the park, both of which make about 80 members. Golden Monkey trekking is an exciting experience in Rwanda’s Parc Volcanoes. After your golden monkey trekking with lunch at Ruhengere transfer to Lake Kivu.

Game safari in Akagera National Park
Wake up very early, prepared to take your cup of coffee, take a morning game drive which takes you on tops of rolling hills surrounded by beautiful lakes from the south up to the north. Picnic lunch in the park, on top of a hill when watching a magic view of 3 lakes at the same time.
After lunch, Afternoon Boat riding in Ihema Lake, visit Nyirabiyoro historical island which is home to many crocodiles, hippos and many species of rare birds.

As far as gorilla and chimpanzee tracking is concerned, the following should be taken into consideration.
- Gorilla trekking is a strenuous activity and one should be physically fit to enjoy this tour.
- Minimum gorilla tracking age is 15 years.
- Minimum chimpanzee tracking age is 12 years.
- Anyone with signs of communicable diseases will NOT be allowed to track.
- While possession of a gorilla permit is a guarantee of trekking and sighting the gorillas, the quality of the gorilla trekking cannot be guaranteed.
- Maximum time allowed with the gorillas will NOT exceed ONE hour.
