3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari
Quick Overview
This Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari program takes you to Uganda’s most popular and ecologically diverse conservation area – Queen Elizabeth National Park. The various animals in their natural habitat will excite you on the game drives, while the relaxing boat cruise on Kazinga will bring you to the biggest concentration of hippos – as you ride the serene waters.
Queen Elizabeth is no doubt a place for discovery, adventure and lots of first-time encounters, especially with the oblivious animals. Countless picture-worthy moments, learning, boat cruises, swimming, the most breathtaking views and treks in the park await you.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth N.P, Evening Boat Safari
Meet and greet at 7:30 am in Kampala or Entebbe, and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Drive west, with a stopover at the Equator for photos, through volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains.
In the evening, proceed for a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. Keep an eye open for the enormous water monitor lizard, as well as crocodiles. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The bird life is colorful and abundant.

All day Safari drives in Queen Elizabeth NP
This day will include two game drives, offering the chance to view Queen Elizabeth National Park's diverse eco-systems of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters, home to an incredible abundance of wildlife.
Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzori Mountains as a backdrop, provide an excellent opportunity to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, African buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck. Combined with the boat trip up the Kazinga Channel, these two game drives are memorable methods of discovering a vast array of wildlife.

Visit Kyambura Gorge Forest, Drive to Kampala
Early morning departure to Kyambura Gorge, visitors can climb through tropical forest and catch a glimpse of a variety of primates, including chimpanzee, black-and-white colobus. vervet and olive baboons are regularly observed in the gorge. Less visible residents include red-tailed monkey and the giant forest hog. For birdwatchers a good range of forest birds are present.
Drive back to Kampala stopping at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers en route where you will able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through generations. There will also be time to stop at the equator for photographs. You arrive Kampala in the early evening.

Best time to visit Uganda or Rwanda
For most people, it is more pleasant and enjoyable to visit Uganda or Rwanda during the dry season months (June to September and December to February). The general climate is warm and sunny all year round, and you can visit at any time of the year.
If you don't enjoy crowds, the shoulder seasons are ideal since the tourist numbers are lower and the attractions are more intimate to explore.
