The park boasts of being the highest concentration of birds endemic to Uganda like Ostrich, Kori bustard, vultures, pygmy falcons, hornbills, eagles, etc.
One more interesting thing about Kidepo is the cultural experience that will bring into contact with the Karamojong people at Karenga and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones, and many more interesting items.

Fly from Entebbe to Kidepo Valley NP
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport to prepare for your afternoon flight to Kidepo Valley National Park. Your flight will depart at 12:30 PM in the afternoon and go to the northern part of Uganda.
Kidepo is Uganda's second-largest National Park, after Murchison Falls National Park. Because of its isolated location, Kidepo is untouched by human factors, and therefore a marvel of the pure African wilderness.
After Arrival, you will have the option of taking a game drive near the lodge, or perhaps relax to the beautiful views as you take a dip in the swimming pool. Even around the pool, you will be able to spot some amazing animals, such as the friendly elephants that frequently come to drink in the nearby waterhole.
As the evening rolls by, the scenery and views will become more picturesque and grand that you will need to pick up your camera.

Game drive in Kidepo, Afternoon Community Visit
After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok Hot Springs. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. Among the animals to look out for on this drive are buffaloes, antelopes, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, zebras and so much more. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring you into contact with the Karamojong peoples at Karenga and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones, and many more interesting items.
The interaction with the natural wilderness and the local community will have you feeling like you are one with everything around you.

Full Day Exploring Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, we will visit the abandoned Katurum Lodge. Built by Idi Amin, this impressive structure is worth a visit for the views alone. A must for birders, look out for Fox Kestrel, Eastern Chanting Goshawk, Grasshopper Buzzard, Montague's Harrier, Fan Tailed Raven, and the very rare Stone Partridge.
In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive to the Nurus and Kidepo Valleys. You will be able to see some more animals such as cheetahs, leopards, lions, buffalo, etc.

Guided Nature Walk, Fly back to Entebbe
After breakfast, visit the bird hide and enjoy a guided nature walk. We will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch board your return flight back from Kidepo Valley National Park to Entebbe International Airport.
Upon arrival, you will proceed with your flight check-in back home or to your next destination. This will mark the end of this tour.
