The trip will start in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda and head towards Murchison Falls National Park. On the way to Murchison Falls NP, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the rhinos and the other wildlife and birds that inhabit the area. Then your journey will resume towards Murchison.
With an option for Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest, the trip will end with a drive back from Murchison Falls National Park to Kampala, or any place of your wanting.

Drive to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctaury
This morning you will be picked up from Entebbe or Kampala to start your safari by driving to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a four-hour drive from Entebbe, along the road on the way to Murchison Falls National Park.
Zziwa Rhinos is home to the only remaining rhinos in the country after the animals were extinct in the wilderness. You track the rhinos and visit the information centre and craft shop. Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary offers peace and tranquillity in beautiful surroundings.
After lunch, you will resume your journey to the park made famous by the thunderous Murchison falls along the Great River Nile. Time allowing you will pass by the top of the falls before proceeding to your accommodation.

Morning gamedrive. Afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast, proceed for a game drive. Elephant, Cape buffalo, Rothschild's giraffe, Uganda kob, hartebeest and waterbuck are commonly seen. You may also spot oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, bush duiker, warthog and bush pig. Large carnivores include lion, leopard and spotted hyena.
After lunch, you will go for a boat ride upstream the calm Victoria Nile. On the way, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17-kilometre stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck, and Uganda Kob. This is a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.
The boat will stop just tens of meters from the sinister, frothing and bubbling base of the falls.

Morning Nile Delta Boat Ride, Afternoon gamedrive
After an early breakfast, you will take an optional boat ride downstream to the Nile Delta point. The Nile Delta is a famous birding point in Uganda and is one of the places to spot the famous Shoebill stock. You will search the marshy banks for the Shoebill before returning to your accommodation.
In the afternoon you will have another game drive and a chance to view more animals and birds that inhabit the park. Relax at your accommodation later.

Morning Chimp tracking in Budongo, Return to Kampala
In the morning you will drive to Budongo forest for an optional Chimp tracking and enjoy a wonderful 2-3 hour forest experience. Budongo Forest is the biggest Mahogany forest found in the whole of East Africa as well as habitat to one of the largest numbers of chimpanzees throughout Uganda.
The major tourist sites within this forest are the Kaniyo Pabidi Ecotourism site, Busingiro Ecotourism site and Kaniyo Pabidi Ecotourism site which are located at boundaries to Murchison Falls National Park and dominated by Mahogany and Iron-wood trees. The 115 kilometer expanse is a remote chunk of the Budongo forest. Budongo forest is also a birding haven with hundreds of native birds species.
After tracking, you will start your return journey from your safari to Entebbe International Airport. You will also have a lunch stop. You will arrive in Entebbe late in the evening to check in for your midnight flight to your next destination.
